Happy Pets is a hotel for dogs and cats in Knyazhevo, at the foot of Vitosha. The location is no accident: here a walk is not a lap around the block but a proper outing through greenery and clean air.

Every guest has a separate, secure room with toys and gets individual attention. Feeding follows the species, breed, age and habits of the animal — not one schedule for everyone.

We take stays of a few days and long stays alike. Veterinary care runs around the clock, and you receive photos and updates on how the stay is going.

How check-in works

Four steps, no surprises. Everything that matters is arranged in advance by phone.

    You call us

    Call 088 999 5459 or write via the form. Tell us the dates, the species and the breed — we check availability.

    You prepare the documents

    A valid veterinary passport with vaccinations and parasite treatment — internal and external. Dogs also require the kennel cough vaccine.

    Drop-off

    Bring your pet between 08:00 and 21:00 and leave their food. We write down the feeding routine and anything important about their habits.

  4. 4

    You relax

    You receive photos and updates on how the stay is going. Pick-up is also between 08:00 and 21:00.

How much does dog boarding cost in Sofia?
A 24-hour stay for a dog costs 25€. Food is not included — you bring their own food so we do not change their routine. Un-neutered dogs or dogs needing individual care are 10€ extra per night.
How much does cat boarding cost?
20€ per night, with a litter tray included. You bring the food, so your cat stays on the food they know. Un-neutered cats or cats needing individual care are 10€ extra per night.
What documents and vaccinations do you require?
The animal must be healthy, vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, and have a valid veterinary passport. Dogs also require the kennel cough vaccine. We do not accept animals that are aggressive towards people or other animals.
Will I get updates on how my pet is doing?
Yes. You receive photos and updates on how the stay is going.
What are the drop-off and pick-up hours?
Drop-off and pick-up are between 08:00 and 21:00. Pick-ups after 21:00 are charged as an extra night.
How often are the dogs walked?
At least three times a day, and more often when needed — depending on the weather and the condition of the dog. We also offer longer walks in the nearby parts of Vitosha.
What does the price include?
A 24-hour stay, individual attention, walks in a clean green area at least 3 times a day, a separate secure room and 24-hour veterinary service. For cats, a litter tray is also included. You bring the food, so your pet stays on their own routine.
Can you collect my pet from my home?
Yes. Pick-up from your address is 20€. The return trip is free for stays over 10 nights, and 20€ for shorter stays. Arranged in advance by phone.

Yes, we take both short and long stays. Coat care — bathing, brushing and nail trimming — is included in every stay, whatever its length.
